THE SEXUAL RIGHTS OF WOMEN

What they do not want
By Ross Guerrero

Psychologist PROMSEX *
There are many things that women yearn for their sexuality and reproduction. For example, having sex when they are motivated, have their children when they feel they are ready and prepared, and are also pleasure-product, learn about your body in order to explore their sexual potential, find a partner accompany them in a democratic way and share the chores, including raising children, and the list could be very long, but I think these are the basic demands over the years listen to hundreds of women.
But they also have clear they do not want. For example, do not want violence in their lives, do not want suffocating jealousy, do not want pregnancy resulting from rape, do not want three hours of work that leaves no strength to enjoy the good things life can give, do not want to go to post or health services and contraceptive methods are not, do not want to deny them care when they make the difficult decision to terminate a pregnancy for therapeutic reasons, do not want to be spoils of war or victims of rape, they do not want to flirt the tubes without having authorized.
Friend and dear reader, I take leave of this article to talk specifically about women, not because I think that men have needs or desires in their sexuality, but I can not, as a health professional and citizen, abstracted from the context we live in, where issues that have affected the rights of women in the field of sexuality and reproduction have been placed in the public.
Women are 50% of the population, those of childbearing age (15 - 49 years) reach more than seven million citizens, and all deserve to be provided with all information and to obtain their consent to use or no birth control, to submit to surgery to give birth in a particular manner, respecting their traditions, without risking their lives. All women without discrimination deserve respect for their rights. Which can not be brought into play by thoughts and policies that consider women beings without the capacity to make decisions and respond to economic and / or moral, religious, private and personal. The interests of women and their sexual and reproductive aspirations in a democratic country should be above. Everything that was negative and rights can not be cut repeated again and hence the invite and to be vigilant.

WOMEN'S REACTION TO AN ORGASM

So the brain reacts when a woman reaches a climax female orgasm
The active more than 30 parts, including those related to memory and pain sensation
An interesting study conducted by scientists Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, was able to detect blood flow in the brain of a woman reaches an orgasm and the influence of this feeling in reducing pain perception. Kayt
Sukel, New Scientist reporter and editor of the note (see photo), agreed to be the person to look to achieve these results. The journalist admitted to a resonance scanner magnetic cover with a sheet and his head tied to a stretcher with a view that can stimulate their clitoris while researchers continue to monitor their brain activity.
Scientists Barry Komisaruk and his colleagues led to Sukel and gave specific instructions. "Komisaruk said touching my clit with my index finger for three minutes, then imagine my finger doing the same work for the next three minutes." Other indications
scientists asked to include Kegel exercises (contraction of muscles in the bottom of the pelvis) and raise your free hand as a signal that reached a climax. Throughout the process
stimulation, approximately 30 areas of the brain were activated, including those related to touch, memory, reward, and even feeling the pain.
SEXUAL PLEASURE IN THE BRAIN
The objective was to determine the relationship between female climax and the activation of a part of the brain called the prefrontal cortex (PFC). According to previous observations, Komisaruk found a relationship between the activity of this region, and orgasm in women, even those that are reached through the imagination.
physical stimulation activated more parts of the brain Sukel imagination or was achieved through exercise Kagel, but in these latter cases had most activity in the PFC. This would open the door to hypotheses that suggest that the zone allows a physiological response on the imagination.
Scientists also believe that orgasm is a powerful analgesic and that studies of brain activation in areas related to the climax could shed light on new ways to manage pain.
