Hymen ... "Complacent?

The hymen, the membrane covering the entrance to the vagina, had an important role in the assessment of women in ancient times in our history. Today, happily, is no longer true. Is no longer following the bloodstained sheet, looking for faults where none exist.
Recently, however, a man consulted me how I could know if his wife was a virgin at marriage. Worried they would not be sure about this and wanted to know more about the hymen.
concern is still, for some men, virginity in women has a very special value-that do not apply to themselves, and question the affection or love you feel for your partner, causing unnecessary discomfort also themselves. No is certainly a lag in our society marked by machismo.
This tiny membrane called the hymen, which is overstated or proof of something he believes, has different shapes, sizes and thickness and has one or more holes, for example, the release of menstrual flow. In addition, it is common that parts of this membrane rupture at an early age playing sports or games of auto-eroticism. But there are also women who come to the delivery room with full hymen. But this assessment of the hymen as "proof" of virginity unfortunately persists in only a few people.
The concern is that the reviews of rape is also included with relevance ranking. The famous phrase "hymen complacent" does nothing but leave doubts about the victim, something on which we must reflect and change.
